Ok, I know you can call me out on it. I was supposed to have a tying video for you all two weeks ago and yet here we are. Better late than never is my motto lately I guess, but the wait was worth it I promise. Well, come to think of it, I recall telling you all months ago there would be a series of these style flies coming your way. Sorry bout that.
Enough of my doubletalk, I sound like a politician, I'll refocus a bit. So, I'm happy to say that I have finally gotten around to shooting the tying sequence for the micro version of the Headbanger sculpin. This little gem comes in at a mere 2 inches give or take and is rather user friendly for those of you out there who aren't fond of throwing the big guys all day for fear of a self inflicted casting concussion. I get it, I do, I would rather not throw my arm out all day but the effectiveness of the pattern speaks for itself and is worth the sacrifice of some tenderness in your shoulder and forearm. Toughen up buttercup, you'll be ok I swear.
