Once again, I hope everyone is healthy and safe, and also getting out to fish a bit.  I gathered it would be fitting to revisit an old video on one of my bread and butter patterns of yesteryear.  The emergent classified caddis is a fly that is exquisitely simple and highly effective, and under normal circumstances we would be fishing these right now.  The weather as of late has been unseasonably cold and has delayed many of our caddis hatches to date.  When ever I have trout rising and intercepting caddis pupa in the film, this is the pattern that I put on and more often than not, I go home with fish smell on my hands and a big grin.

So, sit back with your beverage of choice, and watch this quick one, then go spin some up in your favorite caddis colors, or reference the chapter on this fly pattern in my book.  Enjoy
